Pressure Transmitter Calculation Made Easy!

Do you know how to calculate the output current of a pressure transmitter from a process pressure value?

Example:

Range: 0–2000 psi

Output: 4–20 mA

Measured Pressure: 300 psi

Pressure % = (300 / 2000) × 100 = 15%

Output Current = 4 + (15% × 16) = 6.4 mA
