This Privacy Policy explains how YASLAK handles personal information in connection with yaslak.com and the YASLAK application that displays the website. It covers information you provide, technical information associated with visits, and services supplied by third parties.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
YASLAK is operated by an individual based in Morocco, using the name YASLAK. YASLAK provides printable learning resources, colouring pages, creative activities and interactive learning games, including maths practice, missing-letter exercises, word searches and crosswords. For privacy questions or requests, email yaslak101@gmail.com or use the details on our Contact Us page.
2. Information you provide
If you use our Contact Us form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. The form uses Contact Form 7 to send your enquiry to our Gmail inbox, where it is used to respond and handle follow-up. Contact Form 7 itself does not save a copy of submitted messages in the WordPress database. Our hosting and email providers process the message as part of delivering and storing email. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, your name if included, the contents of your message and any attachments or other details you choose to send. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
If you use an account or order feature, the information requested is shown in the relevant form. It may include a name, email address, login details, billing information and order details. Free worksheet downloads do not require an account. Any information required for a specific feature is separate from browsing our free resources.
Where you use a checkout or payment feature, WooCommerce handles the order information entered on the site. If you choose PayPal, payment-related information is also processed by PayPal under its Privacy Statement. We may receive transaction information needed to record a payment, provide the requested service and handle enquiries or refunds. Do not send payment-card details by email.
Online games and exercise answers
Math Online, Missing Letters Online, Word Search Online and Crossword Puzzle Online generate and check exercises in your browser. These games do not ask for a child’s name, email address or school. The game code does not send the letters or answers you enter to YASLAK or save a learner profile or score history. Your current answers and progress are cleared when you reload the page or generate a new exercise set. This describes the game features themselves; normal website requests and the third-party services described below can still process technical information about your visit.
3. Technical information and log files
Visiting a website creates technical communications with the site and its service providers. These can include an IP address, browser and device information, request time, pages or files requested, referring pages and error or security events. IP addresses and cookie identifiers may constitute personal data.
Technical data is used to deliver pages and downloads, maintain security, investigate problems and understand how the website performs. Where access statistics are collected, they may also show how visitors interact with content.
4. How information is used
- To provide the website, downloads and features you request.
- To answer enquiries and provide support.
- To manage an account or order when those features are used.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
- To understand use of the website and improve its content and navigation.
- To meet applicable legal obligations and handle privacy requests.
If you choose to subscribe to an email service, the signup notice should explain what you will receive. You can withdraw from optional marketing communications using their unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us. Contacting us about a worksheet does not, by itself, request a marketing subscription.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
WordPress and site features can use cookies or local storage for login sessions, preferences, security and other functionality. Analytics and third-party sharing tools may also use cookies or similar identifiers. Cookies do not all serve the same purpose: some support requested functions, while others measure use or support third-party purposes.
Where cookie-choice controls are displayed, use them to accept, refuse or change the options offered. Simply visiting YASLAK or reading this policy is not consent to optional tracking. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies may affect login or other features. Browser controls and provider opt-out tools do not necessarily stop every form of third-party data collection. Contact us if you need help understanding the choices available.
The site also loads WooCommerce order-attribution functionality. According to WooCommerce, this feature uses session cookies to record information about how a visitor reached the site and stores that information with an order if one is placed. See WooCommerce’s order-attribution documentation.
6. Google services
YASLAK has Google Analytics connected through Site Kit and loads a Google tag. These tools can process information about visits, pages viewed and interactions, together with browser or device information and identifiers, depending on their configuration and your choices. They help us understand how the website is used.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites and apps. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers.
7. Sharing tools, Hostinger and external websites
Our sharing features load ShareThis services. ShareThis states that its tools can collect pseudonymous browsing and device information, including cookie identifiers and IP addresses, and may use or share usage data for analytics and interest-based advertising purposes. Its processing can occur when its tools load, not only when a visitor clicks a share button. See the ShareThis Privacy Notice and available opt-out information.
The site also loads a Hostinger Reach script. Hostinger supplies website-related services; where its forms or email features are used, information entered into them is handled for the purpose shown at that point. See Hostinger’s Privacy Policy.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn and other websites take you to services operated by third parties. Their own privacy notices govern information they collect. A link to another service does not make its privacy practices part of YASLAK’s control.
8. Recipients and international processing
Information may be handled by providers involved in website infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, sharing, security and any account or transaction features you use. It may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with a legal requirement or protect rights and security. Provider processing locations may differ from your country. The provider notices linked above explain their international processing arrangements; contact us for details relevant to information we hold about you.
9. Retention and security
The appropriate retention period depends on why information is held, whether an enquiry remains open, any account or transaction involved, and applicable legal requirements. Technical logs, cookies and provider records may have different retention periods. Contact us for details or to request deletion of information relating to you.
Please use the site’s HTTPS address and avoid sending sensitive details that are not needed for your request. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, receive portable data, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights can have conditions and exceptions. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
Send requests to yaslak101@gmail.com, identifying the request and the information or interaction concerned. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Where the GDPR applies, requests are normally handled within one month, subject to its permitted extensions and exceptions. Requests are generally free of charge; fees or refusal are limited to circumstances allowed by applicable law.
11. California privacy rights, where applicable
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our activities and your request, eligible residents may have rights to know or access information, request deletion or correction, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising their rights. Additional rights may apply to sensitive personal information. Third-party sharing tools may use browsing data for interest-based advertising, as described in their notices. Contact us about an opt-out request relating to YASLAK and use the providers’ opt-out options for their own processing.
For applicable access, deletion or correction requests, the general CCPA response period is 45 calendar days, with extensions where permitted. See the California Attorney General’s CCPA guidance. You can contact us about your request and consult the relevant provider’s choices for its own processing.
12. Children’s information
YASLAK resources can be used by children with a parent, caregiver or teacher. Account, order and email communications should be handled by adults. Children can use the four browser-based learning games described above without entering a name, contact details or a learner account. Please do not include a child’s name, school, contact information, photographs or other identifying details in a message unless strictly necessary to resolve the enquiry.
Technical data can still be processed when a visitor uses the website or third-party tools. If you believe information relating to a child, including a child under 13, has been provided or collected inappropriately, contact us promptly so that we can review the circumstances and address the request, including deletion where appropriate.
13. The installable YASLAK application
The YASLAK web app and Android application display content from yaslak.com. Website requests and third-party services remain subject to the practices described above. The web app stores a basic connection-error page for use when offline; its own service worker does not save copies of account pages or worksheet PDFs. Files you choose to download may be kept in your device’s Downloads folder and can be removed using your device’s file controls.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. For questions about this policy or your information, please contact YASLAK.
